Geosphere

Bookmarks

The following documentation is intended for advanced users who want to create customized bookmarks, field note templates, or integrate Geosphere with other apps. Some aspects will require knowledge of programming techniques.

Geosphere bookmarks allow frequently used URLs (web addresses) to be saved for future use.

The bookmark concept has been extended to:

1. Enable database information to be dynamically referenced using basic tags.
   

2. Enable database information to be dynamically referenced using advanced tags.
   

3. Allow interaction with web pages through javascript.
   

4. Allow bookmarks to be created on a computer and downloaded into Geosphere.
   

5. Define a URL Scheme so that commands can be sent to Geosphere for execution.

Field Note Templates

The following advanced bookmark tags can also be used in a field note template:

1. Any Waypoint Tag
   

2. Any Field Note Iteration Tag
   

3. The following Global Tags: [MYLATITUDE], [MYLONGITUDE], [TARGETLATITUDE], [TARGETLONGITUDE], [FIND COUNT]
